Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping – Goals

  1. When your goal arrives at the nearest terminal to your home, the freight carrier will call you by phone to schedule a delivery date. Typically you will hear from the carrier within 7 to 10 business days* to schedule your delivery date. You will need to be present for the delivery.
  2. Delivery is curbside only. This means that the driver is not required to help you offload your products. No lift gate is used and you will be responsible to unload the product and bring it into your own home.
  3. Count the boxes to make sure that you have received the amount of boxes listed on the delivery receipt.
  4. If you notice any damage, please note it on the driver’s copy of the delivery receipt and call our office at (800) 689-0281.  All damages and/or missing parts must be reported to the BasketballGoalStore within 5 days of the date that you accept delivery, and must be reported prior to installation.
  5. If you miss your first delivery appointment, you may be charged a fee for any subsequent delivery attempts.  Please note that due to the nature of freight shipments, we do not offer discounts for late deliveries.  Generally, the products we offer ship in the specified time frame.  However, bad weather, inability to reach a contact to schedule delivery times, and other unexpected occurrences may slow your delivery.

Shipping – Accessories

  1. Accessories and parts will be shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground. Transit time is typically 3-5 business days.
  2. Accessory/part shipments will typically ship next business day out of our warehouse.
  3. For accessories that are purchased with a basketball goal, they will all be packaged together and delivered via freight shipping.

Please note that we have the right to cancel any purchase due to unforeseen shipping charges.  These include, but are not limited to excessive handling charges from carrier, remote areas, limited access, hold at terminal, overlength, liftgate, and ferry fees.  

Items purchased in the same order may be shipped separately, depending on manufacturer and availability.


  1. You may cancel your order for a full refund before it is shipped.  Please be aware that orders can be shipped as early as the following business day.
  2. Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase.
  3. The merchandise returned must be unused and uninstalled, in the original shipping boxes and packaging, to be eligible for a refund.  Unfortunately, used merchandise will not be eligible for a refund.
  4. You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping fees and any shipping fees incurred by BasketballGoalStore for the initial shipment to the customer.  We cannot accept collect shipments. Flat Rate Shipping or any shipping credits only apply if the customer chooses to keep the merchandise.
  5. Once received and inspected to be in original packaging and new factory condition, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.

Frequently Asked Shipping Questions

When can I expect my order?

Orders leave our warehouse typically within 1-3 business days*. Please allow 7-10 business days for your goal to arrive. Often, the closer your destination is to our Indianapolis warehouse, the quicker you’ll receive your goal. (view shipping procedure)

Why am I being asked for additional information after placing my order?

If your shipping address differs from your billing address, we may require additional information before processing and shipping your order.

How do I track my shipment?

After your order has been processed, you will received a confirmation email that your order has been shipped. You will also receive a separate email with tracking information for your order. Once the goal arrives at your local hub, the trucking company will call to schedule an appointment for delivery.

Do I have to be home to receive my shipment?

Yes, someone must be present at the time of delivery to check the condition of and sign for the product.

Do you ship outside the USA?

Because of the cost of shipping, we do not ship goals outside the lower 48 states of the USA. This means we cannot ship to Alaska and Hawaii.  We apologize for any inconvenience.
